On Waitangi day me and my family don't really do much but I will talk about it. On the 6th of February 1840, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed by Rangatira Māori and representatives of the Crown.This year on the 177th anniversary of the signing of the Treat, in conjunction with Auckland Council, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei will celebrate the occasion with a fun and informative day out at Okahu Bay, Orakei.
