Diving in the weekend

Diving trip

In the weekend me and Tapaki went to Nikaus for a sleepover because the next morning we were going to go diving. So I packed all my stuff then my Mum, Tiaan, and my little brother went to caltex to get some snacks and also fill the car then we went to Nikaus when we got there my Mum and Auntie were talking and me and Nikau were doing nothing really. A few minutes later Paki arrived and he had a munch then after we went to set up our beds then we were watching just videos on youtube then we went to sleep. We woke up at 6:00 in the morning and we were getting ready so we could go. Me, Nikau, Paki, Our Uncle Dave (Nikaus Dad), and his mate Toku. We put our stuff in the boot. We had to wake up early because it was an hour drive. We left and when we got to the hills we were going to film a video for our youtube channel but we didn't want to so we didn't upload it. It took us quite a while but we got there. As soon as we got their we just went for a rome because we had to wait till low tide which was at 12 so we had a little swim and my uncle and toku went for a dive 1st . Hours had passed and it was lunch time and we had bacon and cheese sausages. After lunch we all went diving so we put on snorkels and we were diving for paua. We had to use a paua knife to scoop the pawa and it had a measuring bit so if it was to big or too small you had to throw it away. We caught quite a lot then, Paki got to cold so he hopped out then a few minutes later I jumped out because I kept on drinking the salt water. When every one jumped out we had a second lunch then we left. When we left we went to go and see the seals but 1st we went to go and get ice cream so we did then we left to see the seals. When we got there there were so much seals we went up so close that they started SCREAMING at us. After that we went to the light house The stairs were so long it probably took me 7 minutes. We stayed their for awhile then we left again, then we had to drive all the way back. We got back and it was 6 in the afternoon so we were up there for 12 hours. After we cleaned the pauas scooped them out their shells take out the teeth then we cut them then we minced them. There wasn't much to do so I just had a shower.

BACK TO SCHOOL

First day at Avalon Intermediate

I was really nervous because it my first day at Avalon intermidiate.

So I was just lying down until it was time to get changed. After awhile  I got up had a shower and got changed. When was time Me and Braxton walked down to the bus stop, but as we were walking down our Dad spotted us while we were walking,  so he pulled over and took us down to Scott Court so that I could buy lunch and Braxton could top up my snapper card. For lunch I bought a potato top pie, an egg sandwich, and a up and go. When we finished I got dropped off at the bus stop but my Dad and Braxton were waiting on the other side of the of the road inside the car. I was just waiting for the bus, but It took too long so my Dad took me to school instead,we got to school so I said goodbye and  left.  It was only the years 7's there so everyone was waiting outside the hall I saw my mates so I hung out with them until everyone was called to go inside the hall.  When the bell rang the Teacher opened up the doors and all the year 7's sat down in the hall. We were welcomed by the Principal Mr. Hastie when he finished the rest of  teachers introduced themselves one by one. Then all the teachers had a list of what year 7's were going into a their class. I was put in room 3 and our teacher was Mr. Thompson. I was glad that one of my friends was in my class. When we got into the class we chose a desk to sit at then we went to the mat to introduce ourselves to the rest of the year 7's. Then we wrote down what the expectations should be. That took a while so then it was morning tea, I wanted to play basketball but I had a headache so I just sat down with my new friend jackson and we were just talking then the bell went back to the classroom. But every class has to wait outside their classroom before the teacher lets them in. When everyone got back in we labeled our books I was sad cause I didn't bring my books that day it was pretty stink. After that our teacher explained to us what lock up was, so if you have money, phones, or keys you put in a box then the teacher will lock it up in a cupboard. Since me and Daemon and pretty much most of the kids had snapper cards we asked if snapper cards were allowed in lock up and he said yes so then everyone who had snappers put them in lock up. It was time for lunch and I didn't do that much I was just walking around with Daemon talking for the whole entire lunch. In the afternoon we wrote 10 interesting facts about us and color it in so that the next day when the year 8's start they start to know us a little better. When we finished that we went out to play a game with room 2, the game was called long ball. So their were outfielders and batters so the batters had to hit the ball and run to the other end of the court. The fielders could get the ball and throw it below their waist but the fielders couldn't run if they had the ball in their hand you could only run if you didn't have the ball. I hit the ball and ran straight to the other end. If their was 3 batters at the other side of the court then when the 4th batter hits the ball then those 3 batters have to run back. As soon as I got back I lied down straight away cause the headache I had was hurting so I sat out for the rest of the game when we got back inside the bell was about to go so everyone packed everything up then the bell went then we got our lock up and left me and some of my mates took the bus home.
