My First Blogger meeting

Saturday 21.1.17

On Saturday I had Softball training at 10:00 and my Mum and Tiaan had their Softball game at 2'o clock in the afternoon. I had to pack all our softball gears into the Van before we left. We got there at 9:55 to set some of the stuff. me, Tapaki, and Nikau were the first ones to training so we were just throwing the ball around until the some the team showed up. Only six people showed up. After training we were just chatting and then we went home and as soon as we got home I had to grab my Chromebook and we went to the Taita club for my first ever blogger meeting. When I got there I saw Tapaki and his Whanau (family) sitting down as soon as I walked through the doors. One of the guys their I forgot his name but He asked if we wanted something to eat and So I went straight up to the table and had a bun with luncheon,lettuce, and tomatoes it was yum so I had some more. We were talking for a while and we left. When we got back my Mum and Tiaan were getting ready for a Softball game I begged if I could come so I could Film a video with Tapaki and Nikau for our youtube channel but I had to stay cause we were also getting a new desk so my older brother had to with my Mum and Tiaan, my Dad was busy cause he wanted to paint on our roof  and their was no one to watch my 5 year old brother so I had stay and watch him. My Dad didn't finish it all but he got most of done. The funny thing was after he stopped painting It just started pouring with rain. After that my Mum and everyone got back and they told me that Tapaki and Nikau were coming to my house for a sleepover I was excited so everyone had showers then we drove up To Tapakis house cause that's were everyone was going first we had dinner their. We had Domino's, and fish and chips. So Tiaan, Christeene, and Whaiora were staying at Christines house (Tapakis house). Me, Nikau, And Tapaki stayed at my house so we could both film videos for our youtube channels. My Dad dropped us off at my house so my older brother was watching us and my little brother was playing his game and the adults were still at Tapakis house. we were all just chilling out the hole time we were going to try and stay up all night but I was the one who fell asleep first.

My New Years Countdown

2 days before New Years

Day 2: Auckland Hospital & Orere Point

Everyone in the house woke up at different times. My Nan, Aunty and Tiaan made breakfast for my Mum, my Uncle Phil, Uncle Brian, my two younger cousins and me . We had Spaghetti, Baked beans, bacon, scrambled egg and toast. It was so good! We finished our breakfast and everyone had showers.

After all of that my Mum, sister and I went back to the Hospital to spend the day with my aunty Salina who had gotten out of surgery on Wednesday the same week. Since my Mum didn't know her way around Auckland at all we had to use google maps. It took a little longer than it should've. We went the wrong way but we still got to the Hospital in the end. Then we went to the room that my Aunty Salina was in. My Aunty had lots of visitors and she had lots of food in her room. I ate a lot of it. #blessed

 Most of the time we were just chatting and roaming the Hospital. We bought my aunty six different nail polishes so that she had something different to do. I liked buying more food. For lunch I had chicken teriyaki sushi it was yum.

After lunch we went roaming again and I was riding on the wheelchair around the Hospital. It was so fun but the most fun thing was going up and down the elevator because me, Mum, Aunty and my Auncle Tim went for several walks outside. Tiaan stayed inside.

At around 2'o'clock Tiaan took me for a walk to get a necklace for my Aunty. She went to go find one because she heard aunty talk about how she wanted a necklace but had none. Before my sister bought the necklace she got me a build your own plane set so that I would stay still. When we got back Tiaan gave the necklace to me and I was the one who had to give it to my Aunty. She was so happy when she got it  and said that she loved it. We went for one more walk and I took my plane that I built with us. I threw it so hard that it went in a different direction. It flew into one of the rooms and the lady inside just laughed. A few minutes later my Uncle Dante and Uncle Rob came. It made the room pretty crowded so I went into the television room and I hung out there.

 Then afterwards my Aunty Jax came to take Tiaan and I to the Top 10 holiday park in Orere point. We said goodbye to everyone and left. It felt like it was such a long drive and we got there at 6'o'clock at night so the sun was setting. When we drove in we saw that there was an outdoor movie playing. The movie everyone was watching was called Rango. As soon as we stopped we unloaded our gears into our aunty's cool caravan/house thing then my 6 year old Cousin TeKapua, Tiaan and I went to go and watch the movie.

When we were going to movie we saw that they had a Trampoline so we weren't sitting down long before I got up to play. I wanted to go on so I did and it was really really bouncy. I had a really short time on the tramp so that we could go and watch the movie. But before I got off we noticed some kids playing tag and I was too shy to ask to join in. Tiaan ended up asking them if we could play and they said yes. The game was kind of like Build-up but they named it ''Man-Hunt''. It was so fun and it was probably 9:40 when we (just us because Tekapua was getting tired) finished so we had to go back to our caravan but everyone else was still playing. When we got back we had supper it was pretty nice. Then after the long day we all went to sleep. Tiaan and I slept on a bunk bed. Tiaan was on the bottom and I was on the top bunk

My New Years Countdown

3 days before New Years

Day 1: Trip to Auckland

On Thursday the 29th of December my sister Tiaan and I woke up at 6:30 am. We had really quick showers and then we packed our suitcases into our car and left. I was still tired and half asleep. My mum, my sister and I were heading to Auckland.We picked up my Dad first so that he could drop all of us off.  First we dropped of our Mum at the Wellington Airport at 7:20 am and said our goodbyes. Then our Dad dropped us off at the bus stop outside of the train station. It was quite a wait for the bus so we paid for a parking ticket and went into McDonald's for breakfast. Luckily the bus stop was right outside Maccas. I ordered a BLT Bagel and my sister had a Cheese Toastie and water. Breakfast was so yum.

 We were only waiting for the Double-Decker bus for a few minutes after eating when the bus came. The bus driver had to pack everyone's suitcases into this little storage room for the bags. Since Auckland was the last stop on the bus trip so the man packed our suitcases first. After we said goodbye to dad, I sprinted to the top level, ran to the front and sat down in the window seat. When everyone was seated we were off. Once we had started driving I began my timer on my phone. I did that because I wanted to see how long it would take for us to reach Auckland.

The whole time we were travelling my sister and I slept, listened to music, played on our phones and made a video of the bus ride. The seats could tilt back so I was really comfortable. After a long drive we stopped in Turangi for a lunch break. It was a 40 minute lunch break so Tiaan and I went to a Bakery nearby. I'm pretty sure that most of the people the bus was at the same Bakery that we were at. We bought heaps of sandwiches, quiche, hot chips and pizza slices to last us the rest of the trip. After our lunch break everyone got back on the bus and then we left. It was only once we got on again that I realised that there was a toilet on the bus. I had been holding on for 5 hours to go to the toilet before lunch.

It was another few loooooong hours on the road but finally we made it to Auckland. When we got to the 2nd to last stop in Manukau I looked outside at one of the malls and there was a bottle on the roof as if someone flipped it.

Once we had gotten to our last stop I stopped my phone's timer. And WOW it took us 11 hours and 30 minutes to get to auckland. We hopped off and grabbed our luggage. Then a few minutes later our Aunty Jax came to pick us up. After we got in the car we went to Auckland Hospital to see our other Aunty Salina. When we got to the Hospital we saw our mum waiting outside.

It was 8:20 at night when we where at the Hospital. After going inside we saw our uncles (Uncle Dante who is my mums brother and his partner Uncle Rob) that we have never met before. It was really nice. Then we saw our Aunty Salina we were talking to her for a while about going back the next day. So then we left and we went to KFC for dinner. When we chose our drinks we got sprite zero. It tasted like grass. Then we went to Aunty Jax's house and then we hopped into bed and just crashed asleep. 

I was so tired! It was a long day!

You tube account

                                                                           

  Yesterday my sister and cousins made a deal. We would go into two teams. Boys vs. Girls. The competiton   was both teams had to make a youtube account and whichever team could get the most subscribers by the   end of july 2017 wins. We all agreed that whichever team has the least amount of subscribers has to shout a   kai (food) for the winning team.

Boys: so there's me Orlando Bonica, Tapaki (cousin), and Nikau (also cousin). We have decided to name     our youtube account TITANIUM LEAGUE. We named it "titanium league" because that's Nikau's username on one of his games and we all thought it was perfect. I had a youtube channel before the competition and it was called "Orlando Bonica Gaming". I made bottle flipping videos and had 6 subscribers. I want to continue making bottle flip videos for this channel but the other boys have different ideas to add as well.

  The girls team is made up of my sister Tiaan, My cousin Whaiora (Nikau's sister), and my other cousin Christine (Tapaki's sister) . They haven't actually decided on their name. They're thinking about calling it "BTDUB" because of their nicknames. Christine= Boya, Tiaan= Tinaaan, Whaiora= WhiWhi (Dub as in W). They can all sing so I think they might make singing videos. I also heard them talk about doing chllenges and food and funny make up videos. We'll see when they're all together.

I am really excited to start making videos with my cousins and I can't wait to win a free feed.
